GREENLIFE PROJECT in Fallujah, IRAQ
IIMSAMs GREENLIFE PROJECT FALLUJAH is a Humanitarian and Environmental pilot project with a mission to enhance the quality of health of the citizens in Fallujah, especially the Children-in-Need, by developing, producing and distributing Spirulina-based nutritional products in the region. The projects primary focus is on the Spirulina development issues, particularly on nutrition and environment in the area. There will also be a possibility, for the citizens of Fallujah, to be able to start a micro-financed small enterprise; a Spirulina Micro-Farm in their backyard or elsewhere. And a school programme where the students will be introduced to a Spirulina Micro-Pool Kit, so they can learn how to grow and use Spirulina.
The GreenLife Project is managed by Gunnar Magg who also created and initiated the concept together with Maria Cedrell. In co-operation, with United Nations IIMSAM organization and Sheikh Tariq Al-Abdullah, they have managed to make this pilot project a success story for the malnourished children in Fallujah, Iraq. The Programme provided a new type of education as a supplement to their other education. The GreenLife project also enable them to become more environmentally and socially aware. Our greetings to everyone who made it possible and contributed to this ongoing project in Fallujah.
IIMSAM organization has now several other spirulina projects for malnourished children on their agenda. www.iimsam.org
